Events:
We work with families to reach the following aims
:
- Seek to increase the social opportunities to use the Welsh language
- Seek to increase the number of families that use Welsh at home
- Seek to change attitudes towards the Welsh language
Activities with Parents and Young Children:
- A number of Language and Play sessions are held in schools and family centres to give parents and their young children an opportunity to play together and to communicate through the medium of Welsh.
- 3 Mabolgampau Meithrin (Nursery Sports) are held every year in order to give Meithrin Groups and 'Ti a Fi' groups the opportunity to come together in the presence of families and to socialise through the medium of Welsh.
- We arrange fun mornings for young families in order for them to enjoy informal family experiences through the medium of Welsh.
- The Menter supports the S4C annual tour.
