Learners
We work with Welsh learners in order:
To support them in developing their fluency in the Welsh language
To assist them to gain more confidence in the Welsh language
To encourage them to use the language socially
Activities with Welsh Learners:
- The Menter hold ‘Paned a Phapur’ sessions in ‘Neuadd yr Hen Ysgol’, Llanfihangel-ar-Arth, the Woollen Museum at Drefach Felindre and Abergwili Museum. The sessions offer an informal opportunity for Welsh learners and Welsh speakers to come together for a chat and cuppa to encourage increased confidence and to assist with the transition from the classroom to the community.
- A trip is organised annually for learners in the area to different locations of interest around Wales.
- We work in collaboration with Swansea University to hold an Organisations Fair.
